Susan Laycock has had a long career in HR in the public/not for profit sectors and prior to early retirement in 2018 worked for Incommunities, the Bradford based Housing Association, as Director of HR.
She completed her second term as a Governor with Craven College in March, 2020 and found the voluntary role in an educational setting very rewarding – which is why she was delighted to join the South Bank Academy Trust.
Although retired, Sue, continues to undertake short HR consultancy projects and supports both the Health and Care Professions Council and the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a Recruitment Partner and a Fitness to Practise panel member respectively – but mostly has her hands full with her cocker spaniel – who definitely rules the roost!
